AJ Castillo is an acclaimed Latin recording artist, virtuoso accordionist, singer, songwriter, and producer known for pushing the boundaries of Tejano and Regional Mexican music. Renowned for his explosive live performances, custom accordions, and a signature sound that seamlessly blends tradition with modern urban and pop influences, Castillo has emerged as one of the most dynamic innovators in Latin music today.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, into a musical family, Castillo was introduced to the accordion by his grandfather at age 10 and began his professional music career by 13. He later earned his degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio while continuing to refine his craft.
Castillo broke onto the main stage in late 2008 with a fresh sound designed to broaden the appeal of accordion-driven music. Following his 2009 debut album, Who I Am, he earned the title of Best New Male Artist at the 30th Annual Tejano Music Awards. His 2014 release, Sin Límites, debuted at #15 on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart, proving his ability to cross genres and capture mainstream attention. A official HOHNER endorsement artist, Castillo’s studio and performance credentials also include collaborating on the 2017 Latin Grammy Award–winning Best Regional Song, “Siempre Es Así.”

Popped in here for a couple of cocktails after wandering through Magnolia. AMAZING! Great drinks, great service. Awesome atmosphere. Can't wait to check it out in the warmer months for concerts in the backyard.

Love the atmosphere and for bar food it's great! Plenty of room and fun here! Plus there's cats outside to keep company!
We came here with our two small children. Sat outside and immediately was helped! Service was a+ and so was the food. Perfect place for hyper kids. Food was fast and delicious. Server was amazing and super sweet. Definitely will be coming back.
